Architectural Products recently awarded Zola’s American Heritage SDH (Simulated Double Hung) product line the 2015 Product Innovation Award.
Editorial Director Jim Crockett of Architectural Products Magazine describes the criteria for selection for this prestigious recognition. “Building on the success of last year’s program, our fifth edition of the awards proves commercial building manufacturers are committed to, and are working arduously toward, delivering more sustainable products, as well as products that deliver better performance, life and affordability.”
The American Heritage SDH is designated for landmarked and other historically significant buildings, boasting an R-11 glass value and triple air seals while maintaining the architectural aesthetic of a traditional, sliding sash window. According to a judge of the award, “R-11 glass in a historic-profile is quite unique.”
